Airports
Domestic Airports closest to the Owensboro Convention Center include: Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport in town (4 miles) and Evansville Regional Airport in Evansville, IN (45 miles). The closest International Airports include: Louisville International Airport in Louisville, KY (114 miles)and Nashville International Airport in Nashville, TN (139 miles).
Audio/Visual Equipment
The Owensboro Convention Center offers a wide range of AV equipment available for rental. Each exhibit hall and ballroom includes a built-in house sound system. Speak to your event manager for more information.
Booking a Space

Catering
Our food and beverage team is the sole provider of food and beverages for all events at the Owensboro Convention Center. We offer a wide range of menu options to suit your needs.
Dressing Rooms
We have many multi-purpose spaces available to accommodate your needs. Speak with your sales or event manager for more information.
Electricity
We have a wide range of electricity capabilities available, including 110v/20A connections, single or three-phase connections, show power, and more. Trade show vendors should either order access to electricity from the promoter of the event or should call the convention center to place an order.
EMT/Ambulance
Always dial 911 in the event of an emergency. If EMT services are needed for an event, speak to your event manager for scheduling.
Exhibitor Services
Exhibitors can rent equipment, electricity (see Electricity) and other services from the convention center directly. Please reach out to your event manager for the Exhibitor Services Form.
Hotels
The Owensboro Convention Center is conveniently located between two hotels — The Hampton Inn and The Holiday Inn.
Hours
Our typical business hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Our facility is open outside of these hours as needed for events occuring in the facility.
Loading and Unloading
Please contact your event manager for specific loading and unloading details. We do not allow loading or unloading through the front entrance. We are equipped with loading bays featuring dock levelers and different heights. Our loading dock is accessible through Walnut Street. Entry into the exhibit halls is at ground-level for easier vendor loading and unloading.
Outside Catering Guidelines
The Owensboro Convention Center maintains the exclusive right to provide all food and beverages and concession services at the Owensboro Convention Center. Please review the details of our food and beverage services.
Public Transportation
Owensboro’s Downtown Trolley offers free transportation along 2nd street and 3rd street, making various stops along a 20 minute route. See https://transit.owensboro.org/ for other bus routes through the city and fares. Taxi services are available, as well as other ride sharing opportunities including Uber and Lyft.
Rigging
Rigging points are accessible in all Exhibt Halls (30′ Low Steel, 45′ High Steel and Ballrooms 18′ Air Wall Tracks). Contact your event manager for rigging plots.
RV Parking
RV parking is limited to event attendees only. Water and electric hookups are available. Contact your event manager for more information.
Security
Security is required at all events serving alcohol, and for other events deemed necessary by management.
Setup/Operations OCC is a non-union building. Our internal will handle all of your event setup needs.
Shipping and Receiving
When shipping materials for an event, we ask that delivery and pickup of each item be scheduled within 48 hours before and after the event. We are not responsible for scheduling the pickup of any item left behind. Please leave contact information with the front desk in case any issues arise with your shipment.
Stage Hands
Evansville I.A.T.S.E. Local 102 is available to provide services for events if needed. Please contact Cody Thomas, Director of Events, at 270-687-8950 for pricing and more information.
Telecomunications
Telecomunication services are available upone request, including hard-wire and secured SSID internet services, analog and digital phone lines, and technicians. Speak to your event manager for more information.
Wi-Fi
WiFi at the Owensboro Convention Center is free and is open to the public. Secured SSIDs and dedicated hard-line connections are available when ordered in advance.
