The Owensboro Convention Center is brimming with festive fun and family-friendly excitement this weekend! From gliding across the ice over the Ohio River to enjoying a delicious breakfast with Santa, and even stepping back in time to meet life-sized dinosaurs, there’s something for everyone!
Enjoy a merry good time “on ice” at Energy On Ice! Skating hours Friday, December 20 are 5PM–9PM and Saturday, December 21 from 4PM–9PM. Admission is $5 per person and includes skate rental. Bring 8 or more family and friends and get tickets for just $4 each! Tickets will be available for purchase on-site at the rink.
And Santa Claus is coming to town! Families are invited to a holly jolly morning this Saturday, December 21 from 7:30AM–10AM for the 7th Annual Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by German American Bank. Start your day with a delicious pancake breakfast and capture the magic of the season with photos alongside Santa and Mrs. Claus! Guests are also encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation for WBKR’s Christmas Wish to help make the holidays brighter for local families.
Also this Saturday and Sunday, Dinosaur Adventure will roar into the Owensboro Convention Center! Step back 65 million years and get up close with your favorite dinosaurs! Dig for ancient fossils, race on Jurassic scooters, mine for gemstones, bounce in the inflatable Jurassic Playground, meet baby dinosaurs, and so much more! Hours Saturday, December 21 are 9AM–8PM and Sunday, December 22 from 9AM–7PM.
