OVG360, the provider of Venue Management to the Owensboro Convention Center, announces the return of ShamRock Bash! Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish style on Friday, March 15 with live music from the Celtic band, Scythian!
Rousing and raucous, Scythian plays roots music from Celtic, Eastern European, and Appalachian traditions with thunderous energy, technical prowess, and storytelling songwriting, beckoning crowds into a barn-dance, rock concert experience. Nashville’s Music City Roots says Scythian is ‘what happens when rock star charisma meets Celtic dervish fiddling’, and the Washington Post says “Scythian’s enthusiasm is contagious, and shows seem to end with everyone dancing, jumping around or hoisting glasses.”
“Those who attend the annual ROMP Music Festival here in Owensboro may recall Scythian previously being in the performance lineup,” stated General Manager, Jeff Esposito. “We are excited to be featuring a true Irish experience with authentic live music.”
While you don’t have to be Irish to come join in the fun, you do need to be 21 or older. Doors will open at 8PM and Scythian will take the stage at 8:30PM. Concessions and full bar will be available with plenty o’ tasty food and drink specials, including the celebratory green beer, Pot o’ Gold, and the Lucky Leprechaun.
General admission tickets are $20. Grab yours early and save! The Lucky 7 Special will be available for the next 7 days. General admission tickets are discounted to $10 per person now through 10PM on Friday, February 9 only. Reserved tables are available for 4 for $100 and for 10 for $260.
